Taro POS

Connect returning customers with the benefits they use.

Give staff a clear member record at the counter. Taro POS Pro brings member profiles, card tiers, points, coupons and stored value into the same system as the order and its payment history.

New businesses receive a 14-day trial automatically at sign-up. After the trial, choose the subscription for each outlet.

Recognize a member at checkout

Create a member profile and select the correct customer before checkout. Review the linked card and the benefits configured for it. Member pricing and discounts follow the actual card and outlet settings.

Set up points, tiers and coupons

Define the benefits your business offers before inviting customers to join. Check eligibility, validity and promotion rules, then try a sample order so staff can explain how a benefit affects the bill.

Keep card top-ups and spending traceable

Record a top-up to the selected member card and check its balance and history. Paying with that balance is a separate action on the order. Staff should verify the card, outlet and transaction instead of treating every balance change as a new sale.

Choose the plan for the customer journey

Member and promotion tools are part of Pro. Combine them with sales reports and the owner dashboard to review the outlet’s activity. Compare current subscription prices and check the setup with your team before rolling out a loyalty program.

What your team can do

  • Member profiles and configured card tiers.
  • Loyalty points, member benefits and coupon rules.
  • Stored-value cards with top-up and transaction history.
  • Member selection connected to the cashier bill.

A practical workflow

  1. Choose Pro and define the member benefits your outlet will offer.
  2. Set up member profiles, card tiers and applicable promotion rules.
  3. Attach a test member to an order and review the resulting bill.
  4. Check points, card balance and history with staff before inviting customers.

Questions before you start

Does every member need to have stored value?

No. A member profile, loyalty points and a stored-value card have different roles. Configure only the benefits your business intends to offer.

Does a card top-up pay an open order automatically?

No. A top-up adds value to the selected card. The cashier still selects the applicable payment method for the order and checks the resulting payment record.

Which plan includes members and promotions?

Member and promotion tools are included in Pro. Basic focuses on cashier, stock, sales reports and staff tools; compare the plan guide for the current inclusions.
