Included in your plan
Basic: Cashier, sales reports, inventory, employees, attendance and owner dashboard.
Pro: Everything in Basic, plus online store, QR ordering, members, promotions, multi-menu, ingredients and bookkeeping.
Calculate software cost per outlet
Taro POS subscriptions are priced per outlet. Compare monthly spending with payment for a full year and multiply by the number of outlets using the service. Annual plans cover an annual service period; do not mistake the annual total for a monthly bill. Two outlets require separate checks of their plans and needs.
Start with core cashier work
Basic covers the cashier, sales reports, item inventory, employee management, attendance and the owner dashboard. Pro adds tools including online ordering, tables and QR ordering, memberships, promotions and ingredients. A counter-service restaurant can start by testing bills and payments; confirm the plan or available add-ons if tables or recipe tools are needed.
Budget for devices and payment services separately
Software is separate from Android tablets, POS terminals, receipt printers, scanners, delivery and installation. List equipment you already own and confirm exact models and connections before replacing it. Payment-provider charges such as QRIS MDR depend on the service enabled and are not automatically included in the software subscription.
Test an actual working day
Use the trial to set up sample products, prices, opening stock, staff access, tax and payment methods. Test adding items to a bill, taking payment, printing on your devices and reviewing the report. The right budget depends on workflow, internet access, equipment and data setup as well as the feature list.

Questions before you start
Does an affordable POS include every feature?
Check the plan, outlet count, hardware and optional add-ons. Taro POS Basic and Pro have different feature coverage; match the published plans to the actual outlet workflow.
Are monthly POS subscriptions available?
Basic and Pro have monthly and annual options. The table on this page uses the Taro POS plan catalog and shows software prices per outlet.
Is the cashier application free forever?
No. New businesses receive an automatic 14-day free trial at signup. Continued paid service follows the outlet plan and service period. Downloading the APK does not purchase software service or hardware.
Can I keep my existing tablet and printer?
Ask the team to check the exact model, Android version, printer connection and cashier requirements. Test your actual devices before deciding what needs replacing.
New businesses receive a 14-day trial automatically at sign-up. After the trial, choose the subscription for each outlet.
