Taro POS

A QR menu connected to the table, cashier and outlet.

Give guests a menu they can open on their phone, while your team follows the order in Taro POS. The Pro plan connects the online menu and QR ordering with the outlet’s products and service workflow.

New businesses receive a 14-day trial automatically at sign-up. After the trial, choose the subscription for each outlet.

Publish the menu your outlet serves

Prepare categories, photos, prices, variants and toppings in the catalog. Check which products are available in the selected outlet and menu before sharing its customer link. Guests can browse the menu from their own phone.

Follow table and pickup orders in the POS

A table QR links the customer’s order to its table and outlet. Pickup uses its own service flow. Incoming orders follow the outlet’s approval settings so the cashier can review them before preparation.

Send the right items to the kitchen

Configure supported kitchen printers and the items or categories each station handles. Review an approved order in the POS and check its kitchen tickets. Customer bills, kitchen tickets and paid receipts serve different purposes.

Check the complete customer journey

Online menus, incoming orders and synchronized status require a connection. Pro includes the online store and QR ordering; compare the current plans and confirm any payment integration separately. Test the customer menu, cashier approval and actual printer setup before opening.

What your team can do

  • Online menus with product photos, variants and toppings.
  • Table QR and pickup order workflows.
  • Incoming orders reviewed through the outlet’s POS workflow.
  • Kitchen routing and customer bills configured for the outlet.

A practical workflow

  1. Prepare the outlet catalog and select the Pro plan.
  2. Open the customer menu and check its prices and available products.
  3. Share the outlet link or place the table QR where guests can scan it.
  4. Place a test order, review it in the POS and check the kitchen and payment flow.

Questions before you start

Do guests need to install the cashier APK?

No. Guests open the customer menu through its link or QR code in their phone browser. The Android cashier app is for the merchant’s supported POS device.

Is a menu QR the same as a QRIS payment code?

No. A menu QR opens the outlet’s menu and ordering journey. QRIS is a payment method. Configure and confirm the payment options separately.

Is online ordering included in Basic?

Online store and QR ordering are Pro features. Compare the plan guide for current inclusions and per-outlet prices.
